Ordaining new elders

LifeSpring Church operates under the oversight of a governing body called an eldership. This team works together to provide wisdom in managing a variety of matters while ensuring that we as a church are honouring God and fulfilling the vision He has placed before us. Each person on the eldership team is a fully committed member of our church family and has consistently led an exemplary life both in public and in private that aligns with the Biblical qualifications found in 1 Timothy 3.

As we have journeyed together through a pastoral transition (April 2015) and continue to grow into our future, the current eldership team feel it necessary to invite some new additions to this strategic team. First, our Pastor, Bryan Davis, brought these names to the eldership team where there was a unanimous confirmation. Next we brought these names to our pastoral team and staff where there was also an unanimous confirmation. Now, on May 7 we want to give you an opportunity to affirm our choice for new elders. We are asking every member of LifeSpring Church to make an effort to be present on Sunday May 7 to participate in the confirmation of these new elders. Then on Sunday night May 28th at 6pm we will be praying over and ordaining these new elders as they begin this vital role.

If you have any questions or concerns about these leaders or the process feel free to call the church office at anytime 604.864.2285.
