With the ongoing concern of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and the recommendations of public health officials as well as provincial & federal governments to cease large gatherings, we are shifting from large gatherings to small gatherings.

Instead of meeting corporately at 2393 West Railway Street, we’ll be meeting in groups of 10 or less in the homes of our life group leaders and other leaders in our church. We’ll do church together including worshipping together, viewing a video sermon from Pastor Bryan, and being in community together.

If you or someone you know needs assistance, fill out one of the forms below to have someone from our team help you during this time.

If you don’t need assistance but still would like to help in some way, please continue to give tithes and offerings so that we can support more families and people in need.

We know that during this time, finances may be difficult, so we wanted to make sure we help provide you with resources to navigate through this time.

The provincial and federal governments have both announced programs to help families and individuals who need assistance during this time. Starting in April you’ll be able to apply for these programs directly on the government websites. Some of the programs include monthly payments for parents who need to stay home to be with their children now that schools are closed, individuals who have reduced hours or completely lost their job due to Covid-19, and rent assistance for those who need help paying their rent.

If you need immediate, or further assistance, please contact us and we’ll do our best to assist you through this time.

Now more than ever the church needs to be activated in our community. We’ve created a PDF that you can download to drop in your neighbours mailboxes letting them know that you’re there to help, or that the church is there to help. Whether they need grocery delivery, pharmacy pickup, or some other form of care, we want to ensure that the people in our community are taken care of during this time.

During this time it’s easy to feel isolated. We’re encouraging life groups to continue meeting during this time through video conferencing services like Zoom, Google Hangouts, or even FaceTime! Did you know FaceTime now supports up to 32 people on a single call? Technology has made it easy to stay in touch with each other, so let’s not let self-isolation distract us from meeting together.

Check back next week (Week of March 29th) to find more information on how to host a virtual group, or available virtual groups to join.
